Dr. Geoghean began his private practice career in 1982 with Yorktown Chiropractic and in 1986, he moved his chiropractic practice to Cold Spring. In 1996, he combined with Dr. Cardenas and formed the multidisciplinary practice known today as Startnew Medical, P.C. Together they hope to make their practice live up to its name, by helping patients manage pain as quickly and effectively as possible and giving them a new start to a pain free life. Dr. Geoghean is certified in Applied Kinesiology. He continues his post graduate training in pain management, Nutrition, and other areas of holistic health care and anti-aging medicine.
Dr. Cardenas is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine. She specializes in helping people needing rehabilitation and physical medicine to manage their neuromuscular conditions which include disorders of the spine, muscles and joints. She also specializes in the treatment of conditions associated with severe chronic pain. In this area she uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Spinal and Joint Injections and medications.
Dr. Cardenas is a graduate of New York Medical College, currently double Board Certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine. She has continued her education with postgraduate training in Pain Management, Electro-diagnosis, Mind-Body Medicine and most recently in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine to offer her patients the best and most up-to-date care available.
Dr. Cardenas has been in practice since 1994 where she started her first Practice in Rye Brook, NY. After that she added two locations in 1996 in Cold Spring and in 2002 in Yorktown Heights, NY.
As of 2015, Dr. Cardenas ‘s new venture is; the state of the art “Startnew Medical P.C.” This Practice located in Wappingers Falls, NY, is the culmination of years of effort to conquer pain. The practice offers advanced Pain Management, in a Multidisciplinary environment, that is the epitome of “one stop shop” for the patient in pain.
